We helped* CSC increase inbound enquiries by 30% by creating a bespoke user guide to specialist mortgages which featured in multiple press outlets.

The Problem

The specialist mortgage market offers products that are difficult for consumers to understand, meaning that mortgage brokers struggle to explain the benefits. This causes a negative effect on both the general perception of these products and the general uptake - bad news for both consumers and providers.

What we did

We* ran a focus group with a cross section of mortgage broker specialists to really understand the issues, questions and concerns they had and that they faced when talking directly to consumers about these products. Using information gathered from this group we created a guide containing easy to digest product information, case studies and a troubleshooting guide. The guide was made available both in electronic and hard copy format and distributed to professional brokerages across the UK. 

How it worked out

The content within this guide was an industry first, and the first print run soon ran out! The guide launch featured heavily in industry and finance press, and was shared far and wide on LinkedIn and Twitter. This content piece positioned CSC as a thought leader in the industry, and is still being used today - currently on it’s 16th print run!
